使命、目标和目的

The 娱乐 and 唱片业管理 (ERIM) 程序 is a student-centered comprehensive undergraduate 程序 committed to ensuring quality education. ERIM offers innovative concentrations ultimately transforming diverse students into lifelong learners, 参与公民, and creative leaders in their local, 国家, 以及全球社区. Our faculty are committed to incorporating innovative teaching techniques and the most recent theories, 研究, and practices of the 娱乐 and 唱片业管理 through an interdisciplinary approach.

德克萨斯南方大学 will host the world’s most diverse, 著名的, and comprehensive 娱乐 and 唱片业管理 Department. The Department’s objective is to encourage the students to develop their own learning interests and critical thinking to establish a learner-centered environment in the classroom.

Qualified transfer students may transfer up to sixty (60) credit hours from a community college or an accredited institution in any technical area related to ERIM. 

ERIM students have access to a wide variety of resources, including:

• Award-winning faculty who are industry experts, 工作的专业人士, 有成就的学者, including local and regional award winners, documentary and feature filmmakers, 电台的个性, 作家, 编辑器, 和生产者.
• State-of-the-art television, film, and radio facilities including a radio station, KTSU 90.9 FM Radio (The Choice), and KTSU2 in which to work and learn as early as the first year.
• Unparalleled real-world experience on and off-campus, including hundreds of internship opportunities within 30 miles of Houston, the fourth largest city and eighth largest media market in the U.S.
• Selecting a concentration is required for students seeking a degree in 娱乐 and 唱片业管理.
• 学生 should meet with an academic advisor in ERIM before the end of their first year in order to select a concentration.
